Serving as the primary greeting space to the campus, the Corson Lobby at Sunnyside Retirement Community welcomes visitors and families to the Memory Care Center, Assisted Living Unit, Marketing Department, and Chapel. Our design goal for this active area was to create a friendly and professional first impression space to support the Sunnyside brand.
Renovation of the Chapel moved this previously traditional space in a contemporary direction, with modern, cylinder pendant lights and brighter wall colors. The addition of horizontal trim work and a neutral color palette creates a calming sanctuary feel that highlights the jewel-toned stained-glass windows.
Flexible Chapel furnishings and an organized floorplan allow this large space to easily transition from church services to a variety of fellowship hall events.
