My purpose is to use my natural abilities for design and strategic thought to better as many people’s lives as possible, by giving back to the community that raised me, by creating spaces that positively impact people and businesses, and by crafting interiors that support wellness. To be able to do the work that I love in the community that I love.
At Pye Interiors, I found the perfect fit in a small, women-owned business focused on providing excellent design solutions in a work environment that emphasized the importance of work-life balance long before it was a popular headline. Being able to provide big city solutions while living in a smaller community has led me to create a community-focused design center for the Virginia-based firm.

As I celebrated the 20-year anniversary of Pye Interiors in 2015, I felt the pull to plan a different life. Creating, designing, and being an entrepreneur has motivated and fulfilled me for all my adult life, but I was ready for a change. After 5 years of dreaming and planning, my family & I made our big move to Padua, Italy. Precipitated by a strong desire to live more sustainably, we left our material belongings behind and created a new home and lifestyle in a new country. The results were fantastic! We are now apartment dwellers in the historic center of a medieval city, surrounded by 800-year-old markets and within walking distance of an efficient train system.
Interior design, however, is a part of my identity that cannot be denied. So, when we hatched the plan for me to continue my career through remote working with Pye Interiors, the picture was complete.

Surrounded by the creative influence of art and design, I always felt drawn to spaces that spoke to both form and feeling. I knew early on that interior design was something that lit up my soul—especially when used to serve others and improve everyday life.
At Pye Interiors, I’ve found not just a team, but a mission I truly align with—one that values thoughtful, professional, and people-centered design. I’m inspired by the strong women leading our small business and feel empowered to approach every project with intention. Whether it's through ideation, sketching, or final renderings, I love crafting spaces that solve real problems and elevate the user experience. With a universal design mindset and a collaborative spirit, I strive to make every commercial space functional, beautiful, and inclusive—so everyone who walks in feels like they belong.

“We create our buildings and then they create us. Likewise, we construct our circle of friends and our communities and then they construct us.” - Frank Lloyd Wright
Currently pursuing a Bachelors of Architecture as an online student at The Academy of Art University, San Francisco, California
A passion for physical modeling, technical drawing, and drafting, led me towards the perfect blend of these interests in architecture. As I progress in my education, my love for the fascinating world of achitectural design continues to grow. My future goal is to create structures that foster a connection to nature, light, and balance, with a strong emphasis on materiality and efficiency.
Working at Pye Interiors has allowed me to explore the practical aspects of interior design and assess the direction of my architectural career. This design experience has only deepened my passion for the craft and reinforced my ambition to create experiential spaces that prioritize connection and wellness.
