New State of the Art Orthopaedic Center Opens in Lynchburg

The Orthopaedic Center of Central Virginia, Inc. is a new, state of the art facility that combines three practices into Central Virginia’s only comprehensive care center. The three-story 80,000 SF building incorporates hospitality and medical care elements into the interior space and finishing details - especially in the "elective" procedural areas like the MRI suite, where patients feel pampered as if they are in a spa-like environment. In addition to general orthopaedic and sports medicine, the center offers specialists in rheumatology, physiatry, and a special Osteoporosis and Spine Center.  The building houses 150 employees. The architect is Medical Design International of Atlanta, Georgia.
