Lexington’s VMI Post Hospital Undergoes Renovation

The Virginia Military Institute’s (VMI) Post Hospital is a historic residential scale structure built in 1870 that houses VMI’s Health Center. Pye Interiors will provide interior design services for the renovation project, with a focus on making the building accessible, upgrading finishes, and reconfiguring the building to better address VMI’s programmatic needs. The building will continue to serve as a medical clinic and patient resident facility for sick and injured cadets. The new design will also incorporate mental health counseling. The architect is Frazier Associates of Staunton, Virginia.
