Alderman Library Gets A Student Approved-Update

Over the last several summers, we’ve helped UVA Alderman Library refresh Memorial Hall. In the Summer of 2008, the Greenberry’s side of the lobby was renovated to refresh the retail store and add lounge seating for the new media wall.

This Summer, the project was completed by replacing the tall paneled computer stations on the Circulation side of the lobby with a much more open table solution and more lounge seating. The new computer stations provide greater flexibility and support how students work, which is highly collaborative with a heavier reliance on laptops and mobile devices.
